Can you say VINTAGE? New to our website are these awesome vintage brooches that I sourced from a recent trip back home to London. These are authentic 1930's brooches intended for stores like Harrods and Liberty's but ended up not making it to the shelves. So here I am bringing them to Lazy Maisie Creates and giving them a chance to be loved by a new home! They are fun! They are quirky! And they add that little bit of character to any outfit...or bag, or shoe or anywhere you want them! The best gifts are the gifts you want for yourself, and then you can borrow them! As it seems Whistler is about to receive a hopeful second round of winter, Lazy Maisie Creates will be heading out for 3 weeks for a much due vacation back home to the UK! We'll take this time to catch up with family, relax, and show our girls a little bit of what England has to offer. BIG NEWS FRIENDS! I've been a little quiet on here but I've definitely been busying away in the background...on what? We finally have our wholesale website up and running! See our full collection at Faire.com Hi Whistler! You've been asking, so here we are! Unedited camera roll from my trip to Calgary. Thank you to all who visited us @festivalofcrafts and to @k.itbate for providing stellar banter! It was my first time showcasing Lazy Maisie Creates outside of BC and I enjoyed the whole experience and seeing another part of Canada. It was my first time driving 11+ hrs in one day and I found it exhausting, but the beautiful scenic drive kept my attention! I will spend the next week resting up and creating more pieces, finishing up some custom orders and prepping for our next show! What a beautiful city! I drove to Calgary last night and by the time I got in, it was pitch black so I didn't get to see much of it. I woke up this morning to a gorgeous sunny day! Thanks for the warm welcome! I was however a bit baffled by the horizontal traffic lights. Not only were they horizontal but they presented 2 red stop lights...I guess incase you Albertans were feeling cheeky! But not only this, there were several that had 2 horizontal stop lights that operated the same, at the same time...can anyone explain why this is? That's a lot of lights to look at and I wonder if this is more confusing??? Anyone else? We are one week out for our first holiday event with @vanhomeshows and @gotcraftmarket! Happy Thanksgiving fam! Time spent with loved ones is what I hold most dearest! Grateful for friends, family, friends who we call family and neighbours!
